I live in Derbyshire on the edge of the Peak District with my wife Francine and grown-up daughters Claire and Helena. I would like to thank Francine for buying me my first camera. When I left college for a career on BBC Local Radio, photography became a keen pursuit, swiftly turning to a passion as I poured through photo mags and books, fired by the images of photographers like Charlie Waite, Franco Fontana.
