In 1919 a young photographer called Willie Naylor decided to set up his own company in Huddersfield. Having completed his training in Halifax he entered an agreement with his former employer and brought the company name with him - Greaves Photographers. Willie Naylor was later joined by his two sons and whilst Philip helped to improve the portrait and wedding side, Chris decided to build up a portfolio of new industrial clients.
