I love the challenge of photography. Although we live in a progressively more complex mechanised world, it still takes creativeness to make the everyday unusual.

As a quick fire wedding and quite a miserly person I was quite happy getting married and capturing the day on my iPhone. Fortunately for me my new wife had other plans and booked John to share our special day and capture it for us.

He arrived promptly when he said he would and despite having to wait 45 minutes for the bride to get ready set about taking photos of the extremely handsome groom, that's me by the way.

His attention to detail was immaculate and spent 15 minutes looking around our venue for the best places to have our photographs.

He spent the next 4 hours with us taking various pictures in a multitude of places. During the ceremony he took many photographs and the cleverness of it was we didn't feel his presence at all. In our opinion this ability was exceptional.

We had a great day, our first visit to Edinburgh and John's local knowledge of the area and obvious rapport with Lothian Chambers was a blessing.

We would both like to thank John from the bottom of our hearts and would not hesitate to recommend him to any other prospective clients.
