I pride myself on delivering a quality wedding photography service, which pays close attention to not only everything that you want, but striving to push the boundaries and exceed your expectations. My photographic style is a blend of capturing images in a reportage/documentary style but also creating unique images using dramatic lighting so I don't give you the same photos all your friends have. My aim is to create magical photos for you to forever remember your special day.

Products & Services
I focus on the relationships between people, capturing their expressions and emotions, often taking the picture when the subject is unaware.
There is no better occasion to be taking photos than at a wedding. To record a couples special day is an honour. It is undoubtedly the best time to capture those tears of joy, or the proud look on the parents faces through to big smiles and laughter.
Because it's your day, I will work with you in an informal, discreet manner, photographing you and your guests in a unobtrusive manner but also blending that style with more creative/dramatic wedding images. I can guide you, when required, in any traditional or more formal wedding photographs should you so wish.
Although Paul is a wedding photographer, we have used him time and time again for our children's Thai boxing promotional pictures. He is brilliant with our children and is patient with our youngest who is not the best at taking direction. We recently forwarded a picture Paul took for a fight show in London and the promoters told us that it was the best quality photo they had ever recieved for the fight promotion poster. The children always look forward to having different shots done with Paul and are always made to feel at ease during photo shoots. Paul's professionalism is always present on the shoot day and in his finished work. Look forward to using his services again.
Paul was the exact kind of photographer we wanted for our wedding. We were organising a Cornish wedding from Australia so we looked at lots of photographer's websites to find a style that suited us. We fell in love with the photos that Paul had taken at our venue (Trevenna Barns) of previous weddings and also what he was had for other places. When we met up with him, he was very easy going and had lots of albums for us to see of his work (come rain or shine). We bonded well with him and that was it - he was our photographer. We met up again the week before just to go through the shots that we would like from the wedding and also what he recommended. Because we were late in the season, he suggested some shots that he hadn't done with other couples which we both liked the sound of. On the wedding day he was fantastic. Got lots of photos of us getting ready (without being in the way) and then during the ceremony. After the ceremony was complete he chauffeured us to the spots that he had picked out for us and got some beautiful photos. He was really flexible with how our day was going. The wedding album is really well put together. Paul has out done himself through out the entire process. We will quite happily recommend him to anyone getting married.
Absolutely brilliant. From going above and beyond on our day to the delivery of final pictures - Paul is a real gem with a unique portfolio. With an appreciation for photography, we wanted something that stood out but was timeless. Paul delivered. I couldn't recommend enough. A decision you will not regret.
Paul was a fantastic wedding photographer and really helped to make our day perfect. His communication leading up to the day was great and on the day itself he slotted in perfectly. I underestimated how important it is to get on well with your photographer as myself and my husband spent a lot of time with him on the day. There is nothing to worry about on this front with Paul as he was great! He helped sort out my train on multiple occasions and gave great advise on other things when asked. The pictures I have seen so far have been amazing and I can't wait to receive the rest soon. I would highly recommend him.
After much online searching we finally found Paul Keppel Photography. When initially meeting Paul he was able to talk through his portfolio, discussing his style and how he took his shots. We wanted someone with experience and creative flair which showed through with his portfolio. Throughout the day, Paul took hundreds of photos, and most of the time we didn't even know he was there. On reviewing the photos he gave his professional opinion on how to arrange the photo album which looked great. The photos we received were honest, natural and beautiful shots that we could have only hoped for when we were initially looking for a photographer. I would certainly recommend Paul as a wedding photographer and would recommend booking him early.
Paul was fantastic with his service making us feel like the most important people in the world throughout our wedding day and evening. He used his artistic talents to produce stunning photographs of memories that we will treasure forever.
Paul worked tirelessly to capture events throughout the day that we had missed in the whirlwind of activity going on around us.
Paul was fantastic value for money as his high standards place him a cut above other photographers.
Five stars are not enough for Paul Keppel Photography.
From Our Website
I am Paul Keppel. I specialise in wedding photography covering the whole of the UK but predominantly the South-West. I am passionate about photography ever since studying at secondary school. Having followed my formal education with careers in bar management and ultimately ski instruction, I recently returned to full time education to secure a degree in photography. The degree in Applied Media is a vocational course which covers every aspect of photography from studio work, traditional film and darkroom practice, the history of photography, through to designing marketing material and self-promotion.
My approach to wedding photography is relaxed and yet creative; most of a wedding day I spend my time photographing in a reportage - photojournalistic way. During your wedding day I try and work with the natural light as much as possible and may place the bride and groom into a location, which allows me to capture special moments in beautiful light. I do enjoy being creative at a wedding, whether it is during the bridal portrait photographs or nipping outside before the cake cutting and using some off camera flash to capture a beautiful sunset.
As a documentary wedding photographer I am always close to the action, feedback from my couple's say that they feel I blend into the background and capturing the love, happiness, and personality of the wedding. Having photographed so many wedding I understand the flow and timings of the day so I can anticipate the best angles and be in the right place at the right time. I aim to capture all of the feelings and emotions of the day so in years in come you're be able to re-live your day through my photographs and wedding albums.
