| Candidate CV resume: | Photographer Profile: Professional and adaptable Photographer with a multitude of skills gained over many years. I am highly proficient in photography with a keen eye for detail and a natural ability in photography and ability to develop skills within the photographic. I have a visual approach to problem solving. My photographic experience skills include the following skill set:- 1. Ability to use various equipment, including both film and digital photographic equipment 2. Experience of scanning, including the use of USB Microscope and the import of 35mm photographic images onto a Microsoft Windows PC 3. Knowledge of the download of photographic images from both film and digital media onto a computer for use on the computer. 4. Manipulation of Digital Images using packages such as Paint and Photoshop 5. Ability to integrate digital photographic images in packages such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Powerpoint 6. Experience of the creation of CDs and DVDs containing images that have been captured photographically using a Microsoft Windows PC, including Video DVDs for use in a DVD player 7. Experience of the use of digital photographically sourced images online using such sites as eBay and Facebook 8. Experience of sending digital images electronically, including the zipping of the digital files with other methods of image reduction 9. I have my own equipment, including both a film-based 35mm camera and a DSLR 10. Ability to source photographic equipment and accessories from various sources including online 11. Had a license to drive a car since 1981. Had a series of lessons in 2008/2009 to improve my skills. 12. Have good understanding of Health and Safety 13. Willing to consider advancing personal skills using various methods I am able to work on my own initiative or as part of a photography team. Currently seeking Photographic roles within the UK. Career History: May 2009 to Present Recycling Unlimited, 151 Newland Avenue, Hull Originally placed here through FND and went on to gain temporary paid employment as a mini bus driver. I am currently attending this charity for 9 hours per week with their eCommerce activity and am involved with photography and driving when required to do so. My activities include: administrative tasks; document preparation and the preparation of various PCs for sale; photographing various items and locations using digital cameras; burning the results to CDs and DVDs, eCommerce e.g. selling items on sites such as Amazon and eBay; posting items to those who purchased the items online; helping around the shop; driving the minibus and van; I am also involved in providing excellent customer service in all areas. Also have to take telephone calls on occasion within this role. July 2007 to April 2009 Professional Development / Training During this time I undertook various professional training courses including: . Advanced taxi driving lessons . Experienced Windows Vista Systems with Microsoft Office Home . Completed photographic courses using digital cameras, DSLR complete with lenses and filters . Developing the use of cameras with the Vista Systems to import the images into Microsoft Word . Importing music from Vinyl Records onto a PC, saving the music streamed in into a digital sound file. March 1985 – July 2007 Merton College, Morden Park, Surrey My role at Merton College was as a Software and Support Technician within the IT department. Duties and Responsibilities included the following:- • Advisory Service on the use of equipment . Developing expertise in hardware and software . Responsible for day-to-day running of computers . Creation of documentation . Network and database administration tasks . Software development, mainly using Microsoft Office, Visual Basic, Data Binding, Database Connectivity and SQL . Web Development using Macromedia Dreamweaver, HTML and JavaScript Education and Training: May 2008 to April 2009 . Level 3 Diploma in Wildlife Photography, grade A . Level 4 Diploma in Freelance Photography, grade A 1978 to 2007 . Attended various Courses . Gained several Qualifications of at least GCSE A-D Hobbies and Interests: • Collecting UK coins including proof coin sets from the Royal Mint. • Reading books, which include books on such subjects as PHP and ASP.Net • Viewing History DVDs, including footage from WWI, WWII, Ancient Egypt, Rome and Archaeology. • Various ways of using a PC, such as Scanning (including standard and Microscopic), Document Development (which include digital images from cameras) as well as importing from various sources such as vinyl records • Photography – both digital and film |
