InFocus Photographic is about relaxed and fun contemporary lifestyle photography in North Yorkshire. We capture those special images to fashion creative and artistic works that will last a lifetime. Whether it's an hour of fun in our Scarborough studio with your family, or a stylish work of art that celebrates the real you, our skillful photographers will show you at your very best.

Infocus photographic was established in Scarborough in 1992. For fifteen years we supplied the world's media with high quality celebrity, political and sporting images. Our first rate studio opened in 2007 and has since become one of the norths busiest studios. Rich Maw LBIPP qualified as a pro in 1991 having worked his way up from the darkroom.

Our style of wedding photography allows you to be photographed in a relaxed way, alleviating the dread of posing. What is most important to us is to maintain the character of our clients and therefore keeping the documenting of your wedding "real"! The end result, a collection of natural and beautiful images that tell "your" story!

Your lingerie and intimate photo session will instill in you a new confidence and self-assurance that will make you sparkle. The transformations that take place in our studio have nothing to do with the make up - It is all in changing the way you see yourself - forever. Rich will direct you through your shoot, what to do with your arms, legs and even your facial expressions!

Your session will start with a creative consultation, followed by stunning make-up and an incredible contemporary hair style. Then step into the studio set to enjoy an amazing photo shoot capturing your fabulous look. Prices from 99 to include a framed 10x8 inch portrait. Please allow up to two hours.

We've used Rich for our family a for years and even after returning after lockdown. He was well prepared with a very clean studio and was wearing PPE. The measures he has in place are amazing and made the experience very relaxing. We managed to get some amazing pictures and i cant wait for our next shoot.

I first went into the studio in 2015 after having my little boy and Rich made it the best photo experience I had ever had. With having a new born he helped us by being professional and made it feel so relaxing. This meant we had the most amazing pictures to treasure for ever. We returned earlier this year for exactly the same experience after having our little girl. I would never go anywhere else to have pictures done. We now have matching pictures for my children to treasure forever.

I would highly recommend this place the guy was so lovely and very helpful! Made mine and my partners experience very good and kept our child happy and entertained while taking the photos!

Rich did a shoot for my daughter with her cello and the results are pure gold. Got some amazing shots using unique and original angles that really show off the beauty of the cello and my daughter. Fantastic for her to use for her social media. Thanks Rich.

We have had a couple of photo shoots at Infocus, and Rich has always been very friendly, smiley and made the shoot a fun experience in itself, even before you receive your photos. For the shoot Rich has numerous props for you to wear, trilby hats and large sunglasses etc. The photos once we received them were absolutely amazing. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I cannot wait to recieve my Photos! Ive been to the preview today and the photos taken are stunning! The shoot itself was fun filled and my 4 year old daughter loved every minute. A huge thank you to the team for such a brilliant experience Highly Recommened!

I am yet to see our pictures (this is happening next week) however I have no doubt they will be amazing as we had such a great experience. Rich was fab with my little boy and did everything he could to get him smiling which worked and made the shoot such a success!

Called this studio today to enquire about booking my little one in for a photo shoot, I asked nicely to speak to Richard and a rude man on the phone replied very abruptly 'no I'm busy' and hung up! safe to say he wont be getting a call back, recommend or having my business!

Been meaning to put a review up on here for a while! Fantastic service from Rich, really good with our 6 week old son, getting him to smile (must be hard). Made me and my partner very comfortable and some definitely fantastic shots. Pictures were unreal. Will/would recommend. Great prices too.

Rich and Rich at Infocus did an absolutely fantastic job for our wedding, they came up with some totally unique photos that I never imagined! This is what made it for us. The service to the customer that they give is second to none and we highly recommend them to anyone that asks. Thank you for making an amazing day into thousands of memories for us.

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. We got a discounted voucher from the local radio station for a one hour family session. Rich was brilliant at making us feel at ease and getting the best out of us including our lively 5 year old. As well as directing us he was open to just snapping away and taking inspiration when our son jumped all over us! We hadn't really researched prices as our voucher came with a some pictures and it's fair to say that it wasn't the cheapest for other products, having said that you really are getting what you pay for as the whole service is top notch and I actually felt a bit bad we'd got the first session discounted as as someone who 'dabbles' in photography and editing I know a bit about the work that goes into it!

The review session was great with good advice and clearly communicated options, including the option to have digital copies, and having just picked up the photos I can safely say we are made up with them. We would definitely use them again and recommend them.

Hi all, thanks for the awesome portfolio! I used my pictures for my agent's website and was auditioned by the BBC. They auditioned me for a TV part and now I'm looking forward to my third series of Tracy Beaker Returns!
