Professional Photographer in South Manchester | Stillwave Photography
Established in 2004, Stillwave Photography has grown from a personal passion project into a professional photography service dedicated to capturing life's most meaningful moments. Our founder began experimenting with photography at age 9 using a basic film camera, later transitioning to digital equipment in 2001. Over two decades of technical development and artistic refinement have equipped us to handle diverse photographic challenges, from intricate product shots to dynamic live event coverage. We maintain a comprehensive professional toolkit including multiple digital SLRs, advanced lighting systems, and specialist filters to ensure technical excellence in every assignment. Our portfolio demonstrates extensive experience with weddings, family portraits, pet photography, and commercial projects, with a particular emphasis on client satisfaction through collaborative refinement of final results. As a volunteer photographer for Marie Curie, we combine technical expertise with ethical practice, offering flexible booking options across Greater Manchester and beyond. Our website showcases both creative work and educational resources developed through years of experimentation with evolving photographic techniques.

I would absolutely recommend Ben! He was quick and efficient. The pictures came out beautifully and he was very patient with older members of the party.

As we were holding our Bar Miztvah party at the gorgeous art deco Plaza Cinema in Stockport, we were recommended to use Ben as a photographer. I'm delighted we did. He came to see me before the event, and had put lots of thought and research into barmitzvahs - but as it happened, what I was looking for was a completely informal, non-staged photographic shoot and Ben did this superbly. He did not require guests to look at him at all, but positioned himself cleverly so as to achieve the best completely informal and natural compositions. He listened and understood, and provided an excellent service. I work as a photographic artist myself, and really liked what he had done. Highly recommended. Neil Roland, Manchester.

Ben is conscientious. thorough and extremely talented. His shots are original, always imaginative and (in the case of my son's wedding) utterly beautiful. Book him.

Stillwave digital photography did a fantastic job on our wedding pictures. We wanted our wedding to feel like a party without too much ceremony and the photos captured the fun atmosphere perfectly. Guests have commented on how original the pictures were and how relaxed they felt whilst having their photos taken. Stillwave also put an amazing amount of effort and care into the editing and presentation of the finished pictures. We're delighted with the results. Laura and Ross
