Jonathan was our wedding photographer at Edinburgh City Chambers last weekend and what beautiful photographs he has taken. He captured our special moments in such a natural way, that nothing felt posed or uncomfortable. Jonathan made our whole experience calm, comfortable, and natural. He really took his time to find lovely scenic spots in Edinburghs high street, and he was also very patient and nothing felt like a bother.
We got our pictures back promptly and we are very happy with the results. Our end results are romantic, natural, and beautiful and we are delighted with our results. Jonathan is a very approachable and friendly guy and we would highly recommend him to capture your special memories for your special day.

The experience with Jonathon was seamless from start to finish and I can't praise him highly enough. It's rare to find someone with the perfect blend of professionalism, kindness, creativity and care. We hired him to document Mum's 80th birthday party, which was also a "living funeral" to celebrate her life as she's battling stage four cancer. The way Jonathon handled the whole day with such compassion and sensitivity is something we'll never forget and the incredible photos and videos we have from the day are precious memories we'll carry with us forever. He went above and beyond to make everything perfect, both on the day and afterwards. Truly one in a million.

Jonathon and Claire came to our home to film and take pictures prior to our daughter's wedding, whilst hair/makeup was underway and all the bizz that goes with it. They brought an air of calm and made us all feel at ease, working their way through the rooms without anyone really being aware or self conscious at all. They were cheerful and made us all feel special. Personally I was unsure about having professional photographers around during that time.
Those concerns were instantly quashed and we had a really relaxed, fun time thanks to both of them. The wedding video is beautifully done. Claire weaved her way in and around our guests as they danced, barely realising they were being filmed. Watching the video back makes you feel as if you are back there dancing amongst family and friends. Professional to the T. Nothing was any trouble both before and since the wedding. Five stars is more than justified. Thank you Claire and Jonathon for capturing the best of everything. Huge appreciation

Jonathon done a fantastic job with our photos and video. He captured the day perfectly! We got a video of the ceremony, speeches and first 3 dances which Jonathon was able to do himself with cameras set up and it was amazing to see after. Jonathan was so easy to work with, even with everything being booked overseas He was not pushy and did not try and make us appear mannequin like. Everything was easy breezy. He photographed our wedding before during and after and the photos were amazing! I would absolutely work with him again. We really enjoyed our photo shoot with Jonathon! We had to cancel our original wedding plans due to Covid, but Jonathon immediately offered to reschedule our shoot and was able to fit us in at very short notice. Communication was fantastic, and the photo session was really fun. We're very pleased with our pictures and would thoroughly recommend Love Wedding Photos And Film.

We recently had a wedding in Fife and rather last minute decided we would like a videographer. We met Jonathon and from the first call we knew he was incredibly professional but also really flexible to our unusual requests. He made the actual wedding day easy and breezy, but then we were amazed at the quality and skill in the video he produced. We have no idea how he got so many natural, loving moments without us noticing he was there!

Thanks to Jonathon we now have a wonderful record of our amazing family. The photo shoot was a special Christmas gift we will treasure for years to come. Nothing was too much bother as we had pictures taken in various locations on the farm, capturing family groups and cheeky smiles of the grand children playing. We couldn't be happier with our photographs and video of our wedding by Love Wedding Photos and Film. We found them on Instagram and instantly fell in love with their work. Due to lockdown we arranged an elopement at Edinburgh City Chambers (after 4 cancellations.) and Jonathon and Claire made our small but special day stress free and captured so many moments that we had forgotten and is also great for sharing with our friends and family.
Before the day, Jonathon gave us so many options on what we could do and how we could make the most of our time with them. They really know Edinburgh and pick the most beautiful spots. Jonathon and Claire also acted as our witnesses which is perfect for a micro-wedding/elopement (especially with the 5 people restriction). Thank you both again for perfectly capturing our day that we can look back on for years to come.

We were married on the 30th November 2019, and Jonathon and Claire did the photography and wedding video. We are so absolutely grateful and would 100% recommend them to anyone. Jonathon was absolutely amazing on our wedding day - he had an extremely calm, organised, unobtrusive and professional manner which was invaluable on a rather stressful day! He was so knowledgeable in terms of recommending the best light and locations for our various photos, and was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the day. We. received our photos in a very timely manner and with an amazing choice of colour or black and white.

We had the best experience with Jonathon and his crew. We communicated from the US through email only, and never once was I stressed or worried about anything. Our pictures and video were perfect. He was able to capture our day perfectly. The photos really are a true representation of our wedding day.

Jonathon photographed my wedding in June and he was fantastic. He is so experienced and laid back he makes everyone very at ease and comfortable. He has great ideas for shots that would work well, as well as incorporating shots that you really want to get. On my big day the weather was rubbish and it rained all day which meant changing some of our plans but Jonathon was brilliant at adapting and coming up with new ideas.
We were able to get some beautiful shots. Jonathon is such a lovely guy, he was the only wedding photographer we met with as my husband and I hit it off with him straight away. Everyone commented on the day how nice he was. Definitely recommend Jonathon to anyone looking for a photographer

Jonathon was great and happy to help when a lot of photographers were unable to meet our request. Despite our problems, Jonathon made us feel as if he had been part of our day from the very beginning, and had we known him previously we would have selected him for our big day.

My husband and I were lucky enough to have Jon as a very good friend, so when we got engaged, there was no question as to who we would use as our photographer. Although a friend, he was still extremely professional with us from start to finish - discussing our options with packages, albums, group photos etc. On the day itself, Jon turned up well dressed in plenty of time and was very good at putting people at ease, melting into the background and capturing some truly stunning shots.
A lot of the photos were captured without people being aware - these are fantastically natural and a great memento of the day. We now have a beautiful Italian cream leather bound album with thick metallic pages filled with fantastic photos as a result. Jonathon came and took wonderful photographs for 2 "special" birthday parties for my family in the New Club in Edinburgh. I was worried that a photographer would "take over" the event and make us all feel self conscious but I need not have worried. Jonathon was so kind and nice to everyone and put us all at our ease. We hardly noticed he was there and the more formal shots were actually fun. This resulted in the best family photos we have with our happiness on the evenings very well captured. I would highly recommend using Jonathon Fowler if you are looking for a high quality wedding photographer. I first used Jonathon to video my brothers 21st which we were very pleased with the outcome. We therefore felt we could trust Jonathon to do a great job with our wedding photos and he did! He gives clear direction whilst taking the photos and has a great manner about him. We didnt even notice him taking many of the other natural shots and were delighted with them all.
The difficult part is choosing your favourites out of the hundreds of photos! There is lots of opportunity to customise your album to exactly what you like and we are absolutely delighted with the final album!
