The Gibsons Photography

The Gibsons photographed our wedding in December, and they were absolutely amazing! We just couldn't recommend them more. They have been in the business for so long that they know the venues inside and out, so they could give great advice on timings through the day to get the best lighting. They worked with us every step of the way to get to know what was important to us, and took pictures that matched our energy as a couple. I am honestly so glad they had our date free, every tagged picture we liked on Instagram was theirs and so we knew we wanted them for our wedding! Truly the nicest, calmest and most professional people. They think of everything to make your day run smoothly, and give you the most stunning pictures.

We used The Gibsons first as our wedding photographers and they were phenomenal- put us so at ease and their ability to capture natural moments was perfect and has given us the most beautiful pictures to treasure. We have continued to use Scott and Chantal for family shoots such as Christmas mini sessions for our two children. Their calm manner has meant we have some incredible, natural pictures of our two children who loved their sessions! Cannot recommend them enough

I recently had a photography session with Scott to capture my surprise engagement, and I couldnt be happier with the experience! From the moment we arrived, (post surprise which was perfect) Scott was welcoming and made us feel completely at ease, especially since we hadnt done a photoshoot like this before.

The planning process was easy and straightforward, which really helped to set everything up perfectly for the surprise. The photos turned out fantastic and we had a lot of options to choose from, featuring various poses and beautiful landscapes. They were available very promptly which meant we should share with friends and family straight away. Scott was also very accommodating, allowing me ample time to plan everything to ensure the surprise went off without a hitch.

I highly recommend for any photography needs the entire process seamless and memorable!

Had a lovely experience with Chantal and Scott. We had a newborn photoshoot and baby was 2 weeks overdue so they were accommodating in changing dates and even location when asked. They made sure we felt comfortable throughout the process. We had to reschedule a couple of times but they remained flexible and honest throughout. The photoshoot was a lovely experience and I cant recommend them enough. I love the pictures and so happy that I have something to lovely to remember my babys newborn days by! If in doubt, do the newborn shoot!

We have just recently had Scott come to my daughter & son- in - laws house to take our Christmas photoshoot now that we have 2 lovely granddaughters.

I love asking Chantal and Scott to photograph our small family every year. They took our gorgeous newborn photos and I've asked them to capture special moments every year since. Photos with twins is always chaotic but Chantal always captures such lovely moments. Already looking forward to seeing next years pictures!!

We had the pleasure of having Scott and Chantal photograph our wedding on 06.10.25. We also had an engagement shoot with them two years ago which not only helped us feel more comfortable in front of the camera but also confirmed that we absolutely wanted them to capture our wedding day. It was also great to be able to use our engagement photos for our wedding stationery!
Chantal and Scott have been incredible from the very beginning. Communication was always excellent and even when we asked what felt like silly questions, they were always friendly and helpful.
On the wedding day, things werent easy for them it was rainy and windy for most of the day, it was a new venue for them and Chantal also wasnt feeling well. She was such a trooper and wore a face mask all day out of consideration for our elderly guests, which we thought was incredibly thoughtful. She even braved the weather while unwell to get us outdoor photos!
Despite the challenges, were absolutely in love with our pictures and weve only seen the sneak peek so far!!
Scott and Chantal are super organised and professional and their experience really helped create a calm atmosphere around photos time. They knew exactly when to step in for shots and when to let us enjoy time with our guests. We also loved adding 35mm film photography for that nostalgic feel!
Of course theyre both incredibly talented photographers who know their stuff, but theyre also just genuinely lovely people with a great sense of humour, which made the whole experience even better.
We felt completely in safe hands and had a 10/10 experience from the first enquiry to the engagement shoot and finally our wedding day. Wed confidently recommend them to anyone honestly, dont hesitate to book them.

We have used The Gibsons several times now for family photos, and every single experience has been wonderful. They have an incredible ability to capture natural, heartfelt moments in such a beautiful way. Nothing ever feels staged, yet the results are always stunning.

Most recently, they photographed our anniversary on film, which made the images feel even more timeless and special. Its something we will treasure forever.

Scott photographed our whole family at Dumfries House where we celebrated our golden wedding anniversary. I have to say Scott was fantastic from the first day I made contact until we received our fabulous photos a day after the event. He was just great at putting us all at ease and captured our grandchildren informally beautifully.

Scott and Audrey did the most fantastic job at our daughter's wedding. We just got the photographs back a few days ago and were blown away by how beautiful they were, I have seriously never seen such stunning, authentic pictures from a wedding. I spent more time with Audrey, and she was so easy and fun to work with, but what I realised from looking at all the pictures was that half the time they were both taking pictures, we werent even aware they were there. They made everyone feel relaxed and at ease, and that made the photos so 'real'.

The whole process from booking to the actual wedding day, was wonderful. Communication was excellent, they plan everything well in advance, leaving nothing to chance, which helped take all the worry away on the day of the wedding. They knew exactly what our daughter wanted and they went above and beyond to deliver.

I really can't say enough about Scott and Audrey. They were a fabulous team and I couldnt have asked for more perfect pictures of our beautiful daughter and son-in-law. What a truly wonderful team to work with, so friendly, great value for money. Would recommend without reservation!

Amazing skills from Gibson today! So impressed with his professionalism. He took time to fully understand the brief of the photoshoot and added so much value with his expertise. It was a very productive session while we also had some fun in the process!

We have asked Chantal and Scott to come to our home to photograph our family for 6 years now. They are always incredibly warm and friendly, our boys always look forward to seeing them again and its become a favourite yearly tradition. They capture beautiful candids that show us relaxed and at ease, which I treasure as a way to watch our boys grow. Well be asking them to come back for years to come!

Scott and Chantal are so lovely and were fantastic when they came to shoot our newborn Brodie at home when he was two weeks old. It was relaxed and there was no pressure when we had to pause to feed him etc, we had a great chat and they got some great photos including this one which is a firm favourite with all of our family and friends! Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and hope to have them shoot us all again in the future

The Gibsons did the most amazing job of capturing our wedding day - we love our pictures so much and are delighted that these are the memories we are left with. Scott came to capture our family on our son's 1st birthday - the photos are so beautiful, they're bright and vibrant and warm, exactly as we wanted to remember a special day for our family. Scott was an absolute star too, even putting up with a grumpy birthday boy who only smiled if he seen Cookie Monster singing to him haha! And all our guests commented on how lovely he was, it felt like he was just another member of the family celebrating with us he put everyone at ease. We had family nervous about having professional photos taken, and they all said after that they didn't feel shy or nervous at all with Scott. Thank you!

Scott and Chantal have been the most amazing photographers to work with. It's been a few months now since my wedding and still amazed at how stunning our photos are. They are very skilled, talented and professional at what they do. On the day they were very effeicient making sure to capture all the best shots with no delays. They have a very natural, fun approach to their photography. Everyone felt very relaxed to be around them. I've already had guests and family from the wedding asking about their services. If youre looking for a photographer, congratulations, you can stop looking and just send an enquiry to the Gibsons. You wont regret it. We are so so happy we had them with us in our wedding. Leading up to the day they were helpful and quick to reply to any questions or ideas we had. And even though we never met until the actual wedding day, they just melted in so well and felt comfortable to be around. Neither me or my husband are used to, or comfortable in front of a camera, but they made it feel so natural and easy - which I think shows in the photos. Also, to see them working together as a couple is just so inspiring, especially on your wedding day. Couldnt recommend them enough!!
