Available exclusively for newborn and baby photography at the client's home, Marta brings everything needed for your photoshoot directly to your door. Sessions are relaxed, informal and completely baby led to allow for a stress free experience for both parents and the little one.
From tiny newborn details and beautiful pregnancy portraits to joyful family photographs and children's portraits, every session is tailored to your family. The emphasis is on genuine expressions, natural interactions and timeless photographs, professionally edited with care and attention to detail.
Photoshoots take place throughout London and parts of Surrey, including Chelsea, Kensington, Battersea, Clapham, Putney, Richmond, Wimbledon, Kingston, Surbiton, Twickenham and surrounding areas.

Family Portraits
Family relationships are at the heart of our tailored portrait photography sessions. When is the best time to book a newborn photoshoot?
The ideal time for a newborn photoshoot is usually within the first 10–14 days after birth. Babies tend to be sleepier during this period, making it a lovely time to capture those delicate newborn details. It's best to get in touch during pregnancy to reserve a flexible date around your due date.
Do you come to our home for newborn photography?
Yes! All newborn photoshoots take place in the comfort of your own home. I bring everything needed for the session, including photography equipment, props, wraps and styling options. You don't need a large house or a dedicated photography space. I can work with the space and natural light available
Where do you offer newborn and baby photography?
Magic Rainbow Photography is based in South London and covers London and parts of Surrey. Popular areas include Chelsea, Kensington, Battersea, Clapham, Putney, Richmond, Wimbledon, Kingston, Surbiton, Twickenham, Teddington and surrounding areas. Newborn and baby photoshoots take place in the comfort of your own home.
What should we wear for our baby or family photoshoot?
I recommend simple, timeless clothing in soft, neutral colours such as white, cream, beige, soft grey and pastel shades. Avoid busy patterns and large logos, which can distract from the photographs. Before your session, I'll be happy to offer guidance on outfits and styling to help everything look beautifully coordinated.

Is newborn photography safe?
Yes, newborn photoshoots are completely safe when done by an experienced professional. With over 15 years photographing London's babies, Marta knows that no two babies are the same. Sessions are baby led and poses are always adjusted to what feel comfortable to your little one.

We would thoroughly recommend Marta’s newborn family shoot. We have used Marta twice for our second and third babies (really wish we had known about her for our first). She’s done two amazing photo shoots when our babies were one and two weeks old. Both times we were so happy with the photos and had plenty of different ones to choose from - it’s been impossible to choose our favourite.
Marta was lovely and professional and great with our older children and despite ages 21 months and 4 years (and their short attention spans and an occasional tantrum) she took some wonderful pictures with lots of patience, kindness and tricks to keep the children interested.
I can’t recommend Marta enough and I’m so glad we have such beautiful pictures to treasure for the rest of our lives.

Not only is Marta a baby whisperer with the magical newborn images she took of our youngest, but she also managed to capture amazing photos of the whole family. I find it so hard to get photos of my husband smiling and Marta has managed to do this with ease, making him feel comfortable that she was able to immortalise in print gorgeous photos of him with our girls.
We loved the photoshoot experience and how relaxed it felt being in our own home with the ability to take breaks as needed to feed the baby or see to our eldest.
