He worked as an assistant at a large advertising studio in Birmingham working on some large accounts with leading Birmingham advertising agencies. After a while got itchy feet and moved on to a studio in Redditch where he was a photographer running under his own initiative. Finally taking the plunge to starting dpix Creative Photography in 1995 and basing it in Bromsgrove to be close to the client base that he had built up. As the business went from strength to strength, each time increasing the studio size.
