Franklin Derbyshire-based award-winning photographer ASHLEY FRANKLIN ARPS, ABPPA, APAGB offers a wide spectrum of photographic services. The image pictured left of Duffield's Eyes Meadow in autumn was one of many images which appeared in my Duffield Calendar over the last 15 years. After deciding to give up producing the calendar, I persuaded Duffield Parish Council to take on the task of producing a community calendar. They are now welcoming entries to the calendar with the title Duffield through the Seasons.

I am a member of SICIP - the Society of International Commercial & Industrial Photographers - and have built up a reputation for outstanding work in this field.

You remained calm and collected even when you had about 19 people trying to tell you what to do! The family photos are great and the photos you took of the children playing have really captured their personalities. They also loved you accompanying us to the farm to continue snapping whilst they had a great time playing with the animals.
Tuscany Workshop
Report
Welcome to the Val D'Orcia - the most photogenic landscape in Italy and probably the world. You are invited to join WAYNE BRITTLE and ASHLEY FRANKLIN, both award-winning landscape photographers, on a 7-day trip to the D'Orcia Valley, the most wonderful place to take photos in Tuscany AND at the best time of the year for capturing the glory of this stunning area - mid-May. This is the time of dawn mists swirling around the lush rolling hills where wildflowers bloom and cypress trees stand sentinel.

It is a place that I have long wished to visit and I was not disappointed. Company was excellent, accommodation spot-on and the support from the two mentors first class. The hotel was situated in a quiet location but within a comfortable walking distance of San Quirico and reasonable driving distances from endless photo opportunities.
